Helmut, It turns out that I was drawn to your site by a love of raptors that I got from you! I would guess I took an ornith. class from you in about 1967 in the basement at Birge. I would have guessed that your coffee would have killed you long before this (only to be exceeded by Mrs. Hammerstroms)but perhaps I should have had more of it. The class was great!and I am hoping to do more birding now that I am retired. Thanks, the gift that a teacher gives a student certain lasts a lifetime.

Hello Helmut,
I sent an email to your last address when we were both at mavica.nu. I miss seeing your photos but I think this site should be rather nice to look at. We have moved to Florida and have just started taking some local photos.
May I send you some queries about birds I can't identify?
Have you now moved also?

Funny, that you where in Austria - I was born in Vienna, now living 30kms out of the city.
Do you have german or austrian ancients ? Helmut Mueller (Müller) is not a typical american name :-)
