He who has the most toys wins (hey -- I used to live in Hong Kong and Japan. Why wouldn't I think that way?):
* Nikon D700
* Nikon D300
* Nikon D200 (sold)
* Panasonic G1 (finally a sensible compromise between size and quality). All my menus are in
Japanese though -- they actually bother making a different version of the camera for the home
market which strips out the global language functionality. More production cost for less
user convenience. Go figure.
* Fujifilm F30 (if you need a small camera buy something like this -- don't
be fooled by megapixel marketing!)
* Olympus OM4 and various lenses (the old ones are the best... My first "proper" camera was an Olympus OM2n)
* Mamiya 645 Pro (and a couple of lenses -- wish digital backs
for this camera didn't cost as much as a car)
But seriously -- who cares what kit you've got. It's the organic bit behind the viewfinder that matters. TTDP.
