November 17 2009 - An advance copy of Making Rounds with Oscar: The Extraordinary Gift of an Ordinary Cat by my friend, David Dosa. Oscar is a cat who lives on the dementia unit at a local nursing home. He holds vigils with dying persons where he sits and often comforts the family. A brief story in the NEJM led to this excellent book by David. I got to read early drafts -- as soon as I finish the grant, I am going to read my advance copy.
