Message from Gary
I have always admired those gifted individuals who could paint awesome Landscape images and make them come alive on canvas. I was never gifted with those talents, but I certainly could recognize the differences between a good image and an exceptional one. I began to explore photography, through the National Geographic magazine, and many other gifted photographers such as Ansel Adams. After returning from "that War" in Southeast Asia I found myself consumed with the desire to loose myself in photography, it became my way of creating my own little world flushing out all the negativity which had consumed my being. Through photography I began to build a new since of hope and self-expression. Photography was my ladder to the outside world and all those hopes and dreams which waited me.
