Bonjour - today is 6-24-2024 Made ham bone and sauerkaru :) We had fun at two parties - Ray and Suzie and the one across the street - I made a new friend :) He is on the Caribbean Cruise -I introduce Dave ) and him to Gina M - stay safe :) We take Linda LULU - Dave Joshua and Lizy and CC to shady Maple - I have some real I am moving into - the Poconos and :) Because Dpreview banned me from all forums and all - I am to be part of Doylestown Court and sue them for one million dollars !

I love your personal photo site. I don't know if I'm drawn to it because i grew up in a rural setting, where you photograph, or because you are flexible enough to give your kids the camera, (fascinating shots result), or what...but I really appreciate your being a part of pbase...

Sue Ann, I'm just a newbie with a SD950IS. Been reading the Cannon Talk Forum (trying to learn) and have followed your postings there. Yesterday, I spent 4 hours looking at your gallery and was blown away by the beauty of your photos and the way you express it. Even more than that,I was taken by the "story" of your family and the exquisite lifestyle you have provided your children. They are beautiful, and I am guessing that they will grow into marvelous human beings as a result of the aesthetic beauty and love they are surrounded by. They have been gifted in a way that cannot be counted in dollars and cents.

Hi Sue Anne, Thanks for the two nice comments on my gallery. I ofen return to look at your pics here. As I have said, I think the pictures you have posted of your farm are excellent. They have a real inner peace to them. You also have a family for which you can be very proud. I do miss the friendship of the Canon Talk forum of 2004-2005, Going there was sort of like sitting around the kitchen table after a hard day to chat and enjoy each other's pictures. Dear Sue Ann thank you for looking at my photo (lawn) on dpreview.com. I was presented the G6 (am in india so no good customer support) and would like to ask this After shooting an image, when review is on (set to 6 secs) I cant zoom in or out till I press set or The star button. Is this normal? Shouldn't I be able to magnify without pressing anything? Pl advise as you seem an experienced G^ user. Thanks .

Hi Mooder Man - thanks. Yup the A80 is a great 'little G3' but going to the G6 is even more sweeter. The sharpness of the pictures and features/controls are great! :)
