Message from Charlie A. Sindiong
Charlie Sindiong is an Electrical Engineer by profession.
At present he works as a production manager of the family- owned Dgte Asian Printers.
Even though his appreciation for photographs started way back in the 1990s
when he was still in high school, for him any hobby would only be a second priority.
A few years after he graduated from college, he suffered from Herniated disc due to
complications in his lumbar. This caused him so much pain 24/7 for a number of years.
With all those sleepless nights of pain he decided to hurdle this trouble and divert himself in photography.
The passion only deepened when he got his first dSLR (canon 350D) midyear 2005.
He says that a photographer’s personality will just come out whole in his own pictures:
“You are what you see,” he says.
Self taught, and with his own calculated styles and principles,
he is known to treat simple things or complex elements to a profound and powerful imagery.
He imbues his character in the story behind every unchoreographed photo he makes.
He says, “I can’t feel the satisfaction with choreographed photos whereas
the moment just pops up in a second and then I capture it. I like it that way.
The challenge and satisfaction is just different.”
From nature to still life, festivities and the streets.
He handles every subject of interest with high respect and discipline.
Thus, his distinct kind of work has gained recognition
and made through numerous publications in and out of the country...
